Scope of Work & Key Deliverables
Three Sisters Consulting is leading various aspects of this initiative, including:
  • Community Outreach & Engagement: Actively engaging Indigenous Elders, Knowledge Keepers, artists, and community members to gather insights on how heritage should be represented within Toronto’s civic spaces and storytelling frameworks.
  • Facilitation & Strategic Planning: Designing and leading ongoing engagement sessions that encourage dialogue while ensuring Indigenous cultural priorities guide municipal initiatives.
  • Heritage Resource Development: Assisting in the creation of culturally authentic resources, including educational materials, public art recommendations, and heritage site proposals.
  • Policy & Framework Advisory: Providing expertise in shaping municipal policies that promote Indigenous heritage recognition, ensuring they are informed by Indigenous perspectives and lived experiences.
